Child Suffering From Balham, Congestion In Right Lung. Given Antibiotics. History Of Bronchopneumonia. Solution For Congestion?

Hi, my daughter is now 3 years old, when she was almost 1 year she had branchopneuminia, she was admitted in hospital for 3 days and she recovered.since then every winter she has balgham problem and every few days her chest is full and she is vomiting balgham. recently i took her to doctor he said she has lil congestion in her right lung and gave antibiotic and cough syrup and another syrup for lungs. she finished medecins but same problem again started straightaway.

Hi,

Cough and cold that is upper respiratory tract infection is common in children till 5 yrs of age group.So proper care should be given at starting of cough and cold with decongestant ,and antibiotics after consulting pediatrician.If not taken care child will develop bronchopneumonia/ pneumonia.Always keep the child lie in later recombinant or lying in prone position for preventing aspiration of secretions into lungs
