Child Playing With Mosquito Repellent Liquid Bottle. Scared If Put In Mouth. Symptoms If Taken Inside The Mouth?

Hi doctor,

My 2 and half year old doctor was playing with all out mosquito repellant liquid bottle.. There was only little bit liquid in the bottle. I don't know whether she put it on her mouth or not. She's active and playing. But still in confusion. Can u please tell any symptoms if she had taken some of that inside?

The active ingredient in mosquito repellent can vary but with a small amount I doubt her exposure was any more than when you spray it on her skin and she then puts her fingers in her mouth.

As long as she is acting fine, eating and drinking well, alert and happy you need not worry.
