Child Passing Black Stools, Having Constipation. Reason?

Hi, My son who is three years old had black stool two times in a row followed by one normal looking stool and now seems to be constipated. We ruled out that the black was related to anything he ate. He has never been constipated before so this is very unlike him. No fever . He is acting fine otherwise. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any black discoloration of stools is a sign of either after iron tablet ingestion ... or may be blood .. in the stool ...

so get Xray done after complete stool test ... if taking iron tablet ..stop it ... i bleeding is there get xray done .. & consult a surgeon to find out the source of bleeding ... & then plug it ...
