Child On Respiradone And Prozac With Focalin Added. Child Has Gained Weight. Concerned About Increasing Appetite

My son is 12 years old and has been on respiradone for 2 years. Actually he's been on rrespiradone and prozac foa year with focalin added approx 8 mos ago. His behavior and his grades have gotten better to an extent. My concern is that within the first 3 months of starting the respiradone he gained 30 pounds and has gained an additional 30 the past year and a half. His BMI is 32 which makes him borderline. He is active, I'm concerened about his ever increasing appetite.

Hi, it appears to be due to the gastric irritation of the child due to the tablets he is using. I advise to inform the fact to his doctor so that he may be given pantaprazole, or ranitidine to stop his excess appitite.
I advise you stop giving him tasty foods, and avoid giving spices, junk foods, and oily foods. Thank you.
