Child Is On Flixotide Evohaler Twice Daily, Suspected Chronic Cough Allergy, Vomiting. Side Effects Or Viral Infection?

My child is 2 years old and she is on flixotide evohaler twice dialy since last friday as she is suspected for having chronic cough allergy. This is her 7th day and for the past few days she vomits once or twice daily. Is this one of the side effects or could it be a viral infection? Please also note that for the past 5 days she took ventolin evohaler every 4hrs but it was discontinued two days ago. No fever or diahhria to date. my email address is YYYY@YYYY

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

Flixotide evohaler can cause throat irritation which may be the cause of your daughter vomiting once or twice a day. Viral infection is a very unlikely cause for the vomiting.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your daughter an early recovery.

Regards,
