Child Hurt Bridge Of Nose, Swollen, Blood In Tears And In Running Nose. Is It A Situation Of Concern?
Hi, just wondering what potential concerns we should have - our 21 month old was running with a toy and fell, the bridge of her nose hitting it.
Between her eyes now it's swollen and light purple and there was a trace of blood in her tears and in runny nose, but she seems ok now after we applied a cold pack to the bruise.

You have done the right thing. If she is eating and drinking and back to her normal self then she doesn't need any further treatment. The blood is likely to settle down. If you think she needs some pain relief for the bruising then paracetamol would be suitable.
