Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi dear,
Thanks for your query to health care magic. Injury to chin probably is not so severe enough to go to the hospital. Your first aid is good enough. Keep continuing the same. Calpol can be safely given thrice a day after food. It reduces pain as well as swelling. DOn't worry he will be alright in one or two days. Only if things doesn't improve then you need to take him to a doctor.
Take care

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Do not worry.

Examine your kid and monitor her. If there is significant pain or if she cries on touching the area the please consult your doctor.

If there is no pain and child is ok then X ray etc will give only radiation exposure.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
