Child Hit Back Head, Headache, Chest Pain, Belly Ache, No Appetite, Eyes Swollen, Itchy. What Do I Do?

My 6 year old son hit the back of his head at school about 8 days ago. He has been complaining of headaches, chest pain, belly ache,and he has not had much of an appitite since then. He also has symptomps of what i believe is allegies, red swollen itchy eyes, dark under the eyes. I dont know if these are connected but i wanted to know if i should take him in to the ER?

Chest pain, belly ache and loss of appetite cannot be explained by a hit on the head. On the contrary, it is probable that the cause of the chest pain, loss of appetite etc was the reason he fell if he did fall.

Red, itchy eyes are commonly caused by allergies which is most often seen in individuals with family history of asthma, hives, atopic eczema etc.

It would be better to take the child to the ER for an in dept evaluation and for appropriate investigations. It is better to take the child to the ER and be re-assured after examination and tests than to stay at home and the child gets worse.
