Child Having Redness Around Vagina, Anus. Itchy Bumps All Over Body. Prescribed Medicines. Suspecting StrepB Infection. Opinion?

My daughter is almost five and we have been dealing with redness/rawness around the vagina and anus area as well as small bumps all over her body. Both areas are itchy. Took her to the dermatologist and he took a culture of the vaginal/anal area and sent home oral antibiotics as well as a cream (1% oxiconaxole nitrate) to apply to vaginal/anal area. Also applying locaid cream to bumps on rest of body. He believes that she may have a strep B infection. Awaiting culture results. Thinks the bumps on the rest of the body are secondary immune response and will go away when we correct the other issue. She started the med s on Thursday and she is not getting any better. In fact she is more raw (almost looks like ground hamburger). Bumps still present and itchy. Just would like a second opinion and think something else may need to be done before the culture results are in.
