Hi,

It is common to find nasal discharge after a roseola infection for that matter any viral infection. She should get better soon.

Make sure she is protected from cold, smoke, dust. Remove the mucus with nostril sucker. It gives way for easy breathing. Monitor her temperature and feeding. If you are suspicious about anything please reach a ER for prescription of ample anticold and antibiotics.

Mucus has a lot of lysozyme which has killing properties so the immune system is acting well to defend her. Do not worry

ENT Specialist Dr. S K Pratinidhi's  Response
Welcome to Health care magic forum,

Nasal discharge per nose is called rhinitis and may be due to viral or bacterial infection.

It may lead to stuffy nose or blocked nose too.

Viral infection is usually self limiting and subsides after 3 to 4 days.

But If not subsides after 4 days than you should see an ENT specialist for further management.

regards.
