Child Having Loose Stool And Vomiting. Mucus Found In Stool, Smells Like Sour Milk. On Breastfeed And Whipped Cream. Concerned
My three month old bowel smells sour milk and so does her vomit . She has loose stool and it for maybe a week now she has had what look like it was a mucus but still soft stool. She is breastfed and nothing has changed in my diet except adding whipped cream. She still vomits like normal but other than that why would her stool and vomit (spit up) smell sour milk?

I really appreciate your concern for your daughter such frequency of stool is nothing to worry and this would come around, then hydration is only matter still if it is doubtful for any infection then the stool has to be sent for test, second this may not be vomiting but at the time of burping the esophagus contains comes out, and not form the stomach it self, hope this information helps you, take care and have nice day.
