Child Having Frequent Urination. No Pain, Burning Sensation. UTI? Give Norflox?
My Kid is 5 years old. He is having problem of frequent urine . Sometimes he need to go within 5 mins of earlier pee. He reported first time 5 days back but he was alright from lat 3 days. Today again he reported same issue in school. Surprisingly, after coming to home, he is alright. There is no pain or burning sensation. Is it UTI? Can Norflox 100 mg given to 5 year old kid?

sometimes frequent micturition occurs without developing UTI.
it is called overactive or hypersensitive bladder.
you can do routine inv. of urine to exclude UTI.
some anti cholenergic drugs are helpful in this condition.
it is not wise to give her norflox without confirmation of infection.
