Child Has Weird Poo With Bad Smell After Vaccination. Have Rashes And Feeling Of Indigestion. Suggest?
Hi,
My 14 month Year old son has very weird poo. Since he got his 12 month vaccination two weeks ago he poos sometimes 3 times at night time. He never did this before. The poo looks erverytime different. From almost black to yellow watery. It smells quite sour and he got some bad rashes of it already which lasted for a few days. I also have the feeling he doesn't digest the foot very well. It contains whole pieces of peas, carrots or corn or raisins. He is a very good eater. And he has 11 the teeth already which should make it easy for him to chew his food. But I have the feeling he swallows quite quickly. Could that be a reason for bad digestion? He likes to eat by himself so he can controle how fast and how much he eats. I try to make more mashed food again. But he should be old enough to eat pasta and soft cooked veggies right? I'm not sure if something is wrong with his diet or if its still a reaction from the immunisation. Sometimes he poos 5-6 times. Is that normal?

this has no relation to vaccination
give probiotic like sporolac
ORS solution after each motion
give more water barley, coconut water and lemonade to prevent dehydration
you can give soft foods
if he is not chewing you may grind them in a mixie and give it
if no improvement within one week better consult a pediatrician

the immunisation has not caused this effects be sure of it.is he passing watery stool everytime, thn plz get a routine and microscopic analysis of your baby stool done because if there is any pahtogen causing this thn he can be treated accordingly and this will also assure that if nothing is found in stool exmination thn u have nothing to worry.give different types of food to your baby if he is able to digest thm and maintian proper hygeine.
