Hello Usha and thanks for the query
Pancreatitis is uncommon at this age and it has unknown origin in some cases. You need to give your child a good effective course of antibiotic (if not given earlier). The other line of treatment is conservative and depends on the symptoms the patient is facing. So do not get woried about the USG report, inflammation of pancreas take time to recover. I what to know the symptoms your child is suffering from before giving any further advice. Write back to me.

hello usha,
pancreatitis is the swelling of pancrease located behind stomach, mainly help in digestion by releasing digetive enzymes.
avoid heavy food
drink plenty of fluids and enzyme syrup that will help in digestive process of organ . you can use ARISOZYME OR BESTOZYME SYRUP.

Stopping food or fluid by mouth to limit the activity of the pancreas, and then slowly starting an oral dieT

Eating the right diet is important for people with chronic pancreatitis. A nutritionist can help you create the best diet to maintain a healthy weight and receive the correct vitamins and minerals. All patients should be:

Drinking plenty of liquids

Eating a low-fat diet

Eating small, frequent meals (this helps reduce digestive symptoms)

Getting enough vitamins and calcium in the diet, or as extra supplements
for pain managment you can use meftal spas.
