Child Has Sore Throat, White Pockets On Tonsils, Coughing Green Phlegm With Blood
My 9 year old is complaining of a sore throat . I took a look and got a glimpse of her large tonsils some white pockets and a large red vein on left side tonsil. She s coughing some. But tells me she doesn t feel well.,eating fine.I took her to pediatrician because she was coughing up dark green flem with blood and he prescribed a cough syrup ..

ur query is incomplete. but by the signs u have told , it might be acute follicular tonsilitis which requires a course of antibiotics.
