Child Has Low Grade Fever, Vomiting, Loose Stools. What Could The Cause Be?

My son has a low grade fever at night mostly for the past 2 days. 2 weeks ago he had fever for 3 days followed by vomiting and loose stools ...what is going on? Can it be something serious like cancer , diabetes ...he is not his normal self either...a little cranky and not eating much. He is drinking though like normal...thank you.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
Previous episode was due to Gastroenteritis and as you told it is subsided. At present this low grade fever may be due to some throat or viral infection. With this short duration of symptom it wont be a cancer or any other major problem and dont worry and don't be panic. Consult your Pediatrician for examination and the treatment.
