Child Has Loose Hanging Tooth, White Goob On Gums. Anything To Worry About?

hi, my daughter has a loose tooth . it is hanging by a thread but her other one is already coming through. I noticed today that she now has a small white goob that is on her gums at the tip of the loose tooth. is this anything to worry about. I have already used up her allowable insurance coverage so I would love to have some opinions before I spend Los of $$$ on nothing

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

I can understand your concern and would advise to observe the gum for the next week or so. In all probability the white bleb that you are seeing may be the underlying erupting tooth. The loose tooth should come out and the gum should appear better.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Regards,

RKK
