My grandson 3 years old got an Insect bite on his arm on we thing on Saturday the 24th on a camp out. It is round and red. Took him to the Doctor said it was not a tick bite. He also had a cold at the time and it went into his ear the doctor gave him new meds. to take plus a cream for to put on the bite. Last night he got a rash , back to the doctor who said it was a heat rash??? We are worry if this could be a tick bite.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic
the rash may be due to allergic reaction due to any allergen or even due to tick bite.
use an antihistaminic like Atarax syrup(phexophenadine) 5ml twice daily. if no relief you may consult dermotologist
