Welcome to HCM
Greetings of the day
Increased WBC counts in child usually denotes infection. In cases of anorectal Malformation( where there is no anal opening at birth) one of the source of infection could be Urinary tract( as there may be connection between the lower blind ending rectum and the Urethra or Urinary bladder of baby known as recto-urethral fistula). Get Urine examination done to know if its the infected urine which is cause of increased WBC. Get thorough check up done to know other source of infection.
Take Care
