Child Has Growing White, Dry Lumps On Palms And Fingers. Suggestions?

About 5 days ago, my 10 year old daughter developed small, white, dry looking bumps on the palms of her hands and on a few fingers. She says she can actually feel them growing. She can scrape the top off, but the growth comes back overnight . I willl make her an appointment with her dermatologist , but I am wondering what it is. Thank you.

Hi,
Your 10yr old might be suffering from common warts ,these are caused by virus .It hardens the skin and sometimes grows like a cauliflower. So when she scrapes them only the top is removed while the root remains inside the skin .She will need an appointment with the dermatologist who will able to remove them with chemicals or burn them off with special instruments.
Bye
Take Care
