Child Has Fluid-filled Blister, Redness, Pus Formation After Applying Peroxide. Suggestions?

My daughter has what looked like a pinhole sized mosquito bite four days ago. It developed a "blister" or fluid type small head on it which she scratched or it popped...it is now growing bigger daily and is the size of a dime, very red and pusses up if I put peroxide on it to clean it...then I put polysporin and a band aid on it to keep it clean but I want it to dry out and heal (not helping)...suggestions?

Hi thanks for using HCM
Your description of symptoms suggests it could be a skin infection, folliculities.
better to get examined by a doctor.
you may need to apply topical antibiotic cream.
clean daily with good antiseptic cream, you can also give antihistamine to reduce itching.
cut nails and wash clothes in hot water and sun dry.
Hope I have answered your query. wish him a good health.
