Child Has Fever, Cough, Runny Nose, Sore Throat, Sore Legs. Help

My two girls, 4years and 3 years have had high temperatures since sunday/monday, flu like symptoms, cough runny nose , sore throat . I thought they were a lot better yesterday and just seems like a cold, temperature is a lot better. This morning they both can barely get out of bed complaining of very sore legs????? please help

Thanks for your query.
You are right about the fact that both girls have influenza like illness .
It seems they have developed myositis ( inflammation of leg muscles) which is a known association of influenza & similar viruses.
There is no need to panic & continue giving brufen syrup in appropriate doses along with plenty of oral liquids & bed rest.
Both will improve in 3-4 days.
Wishing them speedy recovery.
