hello dear,
in spite of being worried about the present condition of your child, it should be more of a reassurance to you that the fever is going down with time and condition is improving. generally the trunk is warmer than the limbs and the same thing is there with your child and there is nothing is unusual in this. so please be calm and continue the medicines as prescribed by your pediatrician and get back to him in case fever rises again or cough worsens.
thanks
Hi,
Thank you for your query and Welcome to HCM forum.
I think you daughter has got Flu which is a Respiratory infection caused by influenza virus. Fever, cough and nasal problems are the usual symptoms.
Actually we have more blood supply in our hands and foots. This explain why her palm and sole are more hot than other body parts. You should not be worried. It's normal.
And the fever of flu usually persists up to 7-10 days.
