Child Has Fever. History Of Respiratory Infection. What Is It?

my child is having fever and his tests for dengue and malaria have come out normal, and his LFT is fine too. he is 2.8yrs old. had respiratory infection around a month ago, with severe bouts of cough, vomiting, and fever and had to be nebulised for quite a few days during then. Now his TLC is 18,600. and his doc has prescribed Augmentin DDS 3 ml BD. His body wt is 12.7 kgs. Doc says he has some upper respi infection. can t exactly say the focus

Hi,
Fever has multiple causes!
Glad dengue and malaria are ruled out.
Still as the total leukocyte count is high (assuming that polymorphs are high and not lymphocytes in differential count)it is OK that he is on antibiotic now.
