After reading your complaints I came to know that your child is having chronic pharyngitis
may be associated with sinusitis
etc. Though her tonsils had been removed but if any other infective focus in upper respiratory tract
is left than there are always chances of recurrent pharyngitis
and this will again produce severe cough.
so now you should do-
1- X-Ray Paranasal sinuses
2- X- Ray chest (PA View).
3- Blood - CBC, ESR, blood sugar ( F & PP ).
4- ASO titre.
After this much work a thorough examination and clinical co-relation with investigations will disclose the diagnosis that will accordingly manage.
