Child Has Cough, Cold, Fever. Pins And Needles In Arms And Legs. Should I Wait?

My 4 year old son has had a cold with bad cough for the last week, last night he woke with a 101 fever , bad coughing. This morning fever is down however he s trembling and saying he s cold but his temp is normal. He s also had pins and needles twice in the last hour, once in his arm , once in his legs. Should I be taking him to be evaluated or waiting it out? Thx
