Child Has Consistent Low Grade Temperature, Frequent Strep. What Could Be Causing This?

My 3 year old has had a low-grade temp for 3 months. She did start pre-school this year. Her doctor thinks it s a virus after virus, but I m not sure. She had her tonsils out about a month ago, because she kept getting strep . But, she still has the temp, usually 99-99.6. They also keep saying that s not really a temp, but I feel it s not really normal either, for 3 months anyway.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for your query,
As your child is having low grade temperature rise for 3 months, it is better to make a temperature chart of daily recordings and show this chart to your Pediatrician for better understanding of the temperature pattern of your child.
Any associated symptoms with this temperature? And physical examination is important to look for any lymohnode enlargement and organomegaly.
So consult your Pediatrician with the chart and if necessary go for evaluation with basic investigations like CBP,MP,CUE,Thyroid functions.
Hope i have answered your query.
