Thank you for your query.

Kindly correct me if I have not understood the problems. They are:
1. Bad cough
2. Loose motions occasionally
3. Pointing to his buttocks that it hurts

I would suggest the following:
1. Give him some decongestant/cough syrup for his bad cough.
2. Get a stool routine examination for his loose motions.
3. Get his anal canal examined by a doctor for any evidence of injury.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

OBGYN Dr. Asra Ishtiaq Ahmed's  Response
Hello there,

A bad cough with a disturbed sleep is the picture of a sick child. You can give an syrup Benadryl to control the same. Your anxiety regarding elder brothers in the family and the possibility of assault requires careful attention. Kindly keep a close watch on your child. Since these problems can be disturbing and chronic , you can monitor your child through surveillance camera. This will make you absolutely sure of any wrong doing. Just to be on the safer side, get his blood test and stool test done.

Wishing your child a speedy recovery.

Take care.
