Child Has Bruise After Fall, Hard Lump On Jaw. Due To Chipped Bone?

My 18 month old daughter fell about 3 weeks ago and hit a treadmill screw that punctured her skin on the jaw line. She cried for about 10 minutes and seemed fine. There is a small bruise present, but now when I feel her jaw on that side there is a very hard small lump. She isn t experiencing any discomfort. Could she have chipped a piece of bone?
