hello my 1 year old son had an MRI to check for brain damage and i dont understand can you explain, the paper says this,
RARE FOCI OF T2 BRIGHT SIGNAL
IN THE LEFT CENTRUM SEMIOVALE
PERIVENTRICULAR DEEP WHITE MATTER
ARE NONSPECIFIC AND MAY REPRESENT
SMALL VESSELS ISCHEMIC CHANGE OR
GLIOSIS, OR LESS LIKELY VACULITIS,
DEMYELINATING DISEASE,
SMALL NON SPECIFIC 4MM AREA OF
ENHANCEMENT IN THE RIGHT POSTERIOR
TEMPORAL LOBE

Hi,

There are few changes in the brain matter as mentioned in the report .However one needs to know the clinical history also to comment on the possible cause of these changes.

These changes as mentioned by the radiologist could be non specific or due to degenerative ,ischemic reasons.Hence this report would require clinical correlation for confirm diagnosis.
