Pediatrician, Critical Care 's  Response
There no special precautions to be taken regarding diet etc. Regarding any long-term implications, it is difficult to predict as we don't know exactly whether dog bit her or not. To be on safer side, immunization has rightly been commenced by your Pediatrician.

I hope your doctor has made you aware of the Rabipur vaccination schedule. As per WHO (World Health Organization) - "The complete immunization schedule for a patient who has had a dog bite consists of 5 doses of Rabipur vaccine . The dosage schedule is one intramuscular injection of Rabipur on days 0, 3, 7 14 and 30.".
