Child Feeling Lethargic. Worried About Drinking Bleach Accidentally. What To Do?

Hi my 1 year old daughter hasn't been herself all day for about a hour she seemed a little lethargic. My mother in law believes she may have drank some bleach water she had in the bathroom this morning and didnt tell me till now. My daughter was a little to warm earlier so i gave her a bath then she was fine. She still seems a little out of it.

The lethargy could be due to some sickness as she is a little warm.

As you are suspecting of ingestion of bleach water, I advise you to take the child Emergency for examination of the child to assess her physical status and to look for any symptoms of ingestion.

Stomach wash has to be done to remove the bleach.

She may need observation for 24 hours in the hospital to look for any abnormality.
