Homeopath 's  Response
Hello Shalini
Welcome to HCM

The most probable cause of this problem is a mechanical stress on on ur knee joint resulting in Osteo arthritic changes. Pls do a xray KNee in standing posture to assess the joint and can take Homeopathic remedies to combat the inflammation and pain. Also should take Nutritional Supplements like glucosamine hydrochloride with chondroitin, Vit D3, Calcium, Magnesium and Vit B complex to aid in joint cartilage repair. Warm application on knee joint will be helpful to reduce pain and (if)swelling.

Hope u are satisfied
Thank You
