Child. Continued Dry Cough With Mucus, Cold, Something Like Curled Up Thing On Throat. History Of Taking Claritin For Allegies. Serious?
My daughter is 5 years old and the past three months has had a dry cough. Took her in to the doctor and they said it was probably allergies so I started giving her Claritin. Which helped for a little while, but never fully took it away. Now she is sick with a cold and producing mucus with a bad cough now. She hasn t had a fever but just threw up. I looked in her throat last night and saw something coming up her throat that looked like a curled up price of cartilage. Should I be worried about that?
