Chest X-ray Shows With PA Shows Suspicious Infiltrates In The Right Upper Lobe. What Does That Mean?

Hi good day, if i may ask i had my chest x-ray with PA just recently and it say's there that there is a suspicious infiltrates in the right upper lobe. what does that mean? and then it suggested that i should have a apicolordotic view xray? what are my chances that my lung would be normal?thank you. would i get a negative result?thanks.

hello

As you have said you had an incidental finding of "suspicious infiltrates in upper lobes "

mostly these upper infiltrates are benign if you are not living in an area where tuberculosis is prevalent

mostly there is thickening of upper part of lung due to gravitational pull and x ray shows infiltrate , get an apical xray to confirm

other causes of upper lobe infiltrates are
1 lung tuberculosis
2.backache (ankylosing spondylitis)
3.drug reaction
