Chest Pains. Pain While Breathing. Any Idea What It Could Be?

Hi, over the past few months I have had infrequent chest pains (once every couple of months). However this past week or two, have been happening more and more often (few times a day). I am 17 years of age, male, and am very fit, as I am on a dance course. I am worried, as it is sharp pains to my chest which only last for a couple of minutes, but hurt when I breathe. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM'
Your description seems to indicate some injury to your rib giving rise to the pain.
Please get a check up with doctor and discuss . you may need some investigations like x-rays etc to reach a diagnosis and proper treatment .
It will be better to take rest till you get a check up .
