Chest Pain, Restlessness In Sleep, Tiredness, Stents Fitted. Had Angiogram. Worry?
Hello my name is Bill i am 66 7 years ago I had 2 stents fitted and for the first few weeks felt good .Then one day I was attending a supervised fitness class and had to stop as I collasped and have since then struggled. I am always tired but not the kind of normal tired its a draining type of tiredness that leaves me shattered all the time. Sometimes I get pains in my chest but not like the pains I had before my stents were fitted. Sometimes this happens when I'm doing something and sometimes when I'm just sat in the chair. My sleeping is terrible my wife says I'm never still I'm restless I'm jumping around the bed dreaming I wake up sometimes more tired than before I went to bed. I forgot to say I have been back to my specialist and had a angiogram everything is fine. Could you please help me as I just want to feel better .
The usual cause in such circumstances is block in the stent and/or progression of the disease in the native vessel. Angiogram repeated and normal excludes them – in your case. In such a situation, coronary artery spasm (Prinzmetal - variant angina) / arrhythmia – need evaluation... Other issues like spine and lung may need consideration The treating doctor alone can suggest further based on his assessment of the situation.
Take care Wishing speedy recovery God bless Good luck
