Chest Pain Around Breast, Lasts For A Few Minutes And Subsides. What Could The Cause Be?

I am a 28 year old female..I have been having chest pain for the past couple days on the left side above and around my breast , I don t even have to be doing anything for the pain to come on..It lasts a few minutes and than subsides but comes back shortly (about 5 to 10 minutes) I have never had any heart issues before. But am going for a ct scan on my abdomen next week.

DO YOU HAVE SOME ABDOMINAL PROBLEM ALSO I MEAN WHY ARE YOU GOING FOR A ABDOMINAL CT SCAN.. WELL YOU SHOULD CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR FOR YOUR CHEST PAIN AS WELL, IT CAN BE A HEART PROBLEM OR HEART BURN ALSO.. YOUR AGE IS QUITE EARLY TO GET A HEART PROBLEM BUT STILL PROPER EXAMINATION IS REQUIRED. ARE YOU OVER WEIGHT OR DO YOU HAVE SOME ACIDITY? YOU SHOULD REPORT EVERYTHING TO YOUR DOCTOR SO THAT CAN HELP HIM TO MAKE PROPER DIAGNOSIS...

Hi,
It seems that you might be having Myalgia type of pain.
But to be on safe side go for EKG to rule out any cardiac cause.
Take some pain killer like ibuprofen or Diclophen type of medicine.
