Hi.
Thanks for your query and information.
Noted your history of fully treated
Tuberculosis in last 2012. But the white phlegm continues to clog the throat.
First of all you have to understand what is phlegm and why does occur in more quantity and clot your throat.
The phlegm is necessarily excessive production of the mucus in such a large quantity that it accumulates and you have to do the efforts to clean it.
This is always in response t the irritation of a particular thing from outside and the diseased mucosa from within.
There can be secondary infection or the hypertrophy of the mucosal lining.
I would advise you the following:
First of all identify the reasons, for this you need to have detailed clinical evaluation done by a Physician or an ENT.
Tests of blood, urine.
Ct scan of the
sinuses and the chest.
Phlegm for gram staining, AFB staining, culture and sensitivity.
This will give us the idea and to get the further treatment.
In addition:
Avoid all the irritants that you might have noticed to increase the problems.
like fumes, scents, mold, mildews, foods and beverages, smokes, alcohol and so on. This is particularly your observation that will help you the most.
