Can Weak Vision Be Related To The Cavum Septum Pellucidum Revealed In CAT Scan?

I just received my cat scan and it revealed a small cavum septum pellucidum is present with mild cortical strophic changes. I am having vision problems and have to change glasses yearly. Can you tell me are these two conditions related? Thanks Terry m YYYY@YYYY

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

No,small cavum septum pellucidum is not related to your weak vision.
Cavum septum pellucidum is an anatomical variation only.
There must be other reasons for your low vision.
You should consult ophthalmologist.
Hope i have answered your query.

Take Care
