Can Warts In Urethra Lead To Prostate Infection?

My husband had warts in his urethra 20 years ago and had surgery. Now he has developed "prostate infection" however the antibiotics are not working. The urologist did a MRI of the kidney and blatter and all is good. Now he wants to scope the urethra? Will warts or scar tissue cause pus in the urine or infection?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

He has wart in urethra. If wart or scar tissue obstruct the tract then it can leads to infection in urine. So scopy is a good option to check any obstruction. You need higher antibiotics treatment to deal with infection. If needed go for culture and sensitivity testing and take treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
