Can Vyvanse Cause Headaches, difficulty Breathing And Fast Heart Beats?

I took one vyvanse a day for the past three days. I am noticing a headache, slight difficulty breathing, fast heartbeat, and one side of my throat feels slightly sore. I am discontinuing the use of vyvance. My question is, do I need medical attention? I seem to be okay, but I don t know if it may be a small allergic reaction, or just a few symptoms.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Vyvanse contains 'lisdexamfetamine', which is a central nervous system stimulant.
Usual side effects encountered with the use of this drug include: nausea, vomiting, constipation, stomach/abdominal pain, loss of appetite, dry mouth, headache, nervousness, dizziness, difficulty in sleeping, sweating, weight loss, irritability and restlessness.
Since some of these effects are what you are experiencing, it would be better to seek medical attention promptly.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
