Can Under Active Thyroid Cause Small Red Itchy Spots On Neck?

hello. I have had underactive thyroid for 3 years now. In the last few days I noticed small red itchy spots on my neck where the thyroid gland is situated. What is this? Thank you!

Hello and thank you for asking!
I can understand your concern.
Hypothyroidism does not cause superficial lesions.
It should be a kind of allergy (probably from the clothes) but would be more helpful for us, if you attach a picture of that region.
Will be a pleasure to help you further.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
