Can Tylenol And Ibuprofen Cure High Fever?

Yes. my 3 year old daughter has had a high temperature for the last couple of days...running around 101-103. Just a few minutes ago she spiked up to 105.9. We put her in a lukewarm bath and she s back down to 102. We have her on Tylenol and ibuprofen. Do we need to take her to the ER?

Hello!
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The way you describe it might be an viral or bacterial infection.
You should try to control her fever with Ibuprofen and Tylenol.
Try to put cold compresses in her body.
Give her plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration due to high temperature.
If the temperature keep staying at 102 or increase even more you should take her to ER because she is to little and so high values of temperature can be dangerous.
She also need to do some blood tests, urine test, and need a physical examination to find out the right cause of this fever and according this take the right treatment.

Hope my answer has helped.
Take care.
