Your concern is valid.
Presence of TB in mother does carry a risk of infection being passed on to the baby. While in utero, the medicines you are receiving will take care of the baby also.
However, you have to maintain your general health. Particularly
anaemia is a known notorious complication of
pregnancy. If you become anaemic, you will not be in a position to supply the required iron and then the baby also suffers from anaemia.
Due to anaemia, mothers stand the normal blood loss during delivery also very poorly.
After the delivery, the child specialists will assess the child and will decide whether child can be given
BCG. Leave this decision to them.
While feeding the baby you will have to take maximum care, particularly if you TB is open. You should wear the mask all the time while handling the baby, particularly when breast feeding. Breast feeding otherwise is fairly safe.
And finally, most important : Please remain adherent to your anti-tubercular line of treatment religiously.
