Can Tramadol Cause Insomnia Or Memory Loss?
Yes, My husband is a recovering alcoholic with 31 years of sobriety. He had back surgery in 2009 and now takes tramedol for pain relief. I am wondering if this is causing insomnia or memory loss. Have you seen that drug have adverse side effects in recovering alcoholics?

hi madam, welcome to HCM, i understand ur problem, side effects of tramadol are dizzy, drowsy, headache, tired feeling, diarrhea, nausea, vomit, stomach pain, anxious or nervous etc.. but memory loss is not a side effect of tramadol, hope u satify with my answer, thank u
