Can Thickening Of The Uterus Mean Pregnancy?

Ok I went to the doctors for an ultra sound update due to my miscarriage I had on July 30th. I had a period August 21-27 and haven't had one since then. My doctor told me that the thickening of my uterus is 17 cm being as though I'm 28 years old she said that its okay. Is this a possibility that I am pregnant??

Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Please upload your ultrasound scan for me to comment better.
There is no mention of pregnancy anywhere, so do not worry.
Thickening of the lining of the uterus being 17 mm is not normal
thickening of the wall of the uterus also being 17 cm is not normal.
I fail to understand why the doctor said that it was okay.
No dimension of the non pregnant uterus measures 17 cm.
Please upload the exact report so that you can have better guidance.
It is best to avoid a pregnancy for 3 - 6 months following a miscarriage.
