Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the stye, an infection of the hair follicle of the eye lashes. It grow for few days, and then become hot and bursts, ejecting the pus into the eye.
If the swelling is still there it is to be incised, drained, and treated with the antibiotics systemic and local.
Unless the other person have any appearent infection, there is no possibility of getting the infection from others.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
