Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I (Age 34) tore my ACL(MRI says complete tore) and minor lateral and medial meniscus tear three weeks earlier. Is there any solution to heal the ACL without surgery . I already had three surgeries like fistula(Three years back), open appendicts(1 and half years back) and hydrocele(11 years back). Please advice me
I would recommend you to go ahead with ACL reconstruction surgery. As ACL is necessary for normal functioning of knee joint and it can not be healed by it self. Arthroscopy surgery is not a big issue, as cut is very small and no bed rest needed.
