Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was reheating a takeout meal in a Teflon pan and the water in the pan boiled out and it started to smoke. I didn't catch it right away as I was helping a customer where I work. When I did turn the pan off and check the meal, it wasn't burnt so I ate a few bites. Could the smoke be toxic? I had the pan covered during the time it burned.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, no it may not be toxic but if it is creating some doubt then better to avoid eating the meal, I think that the test it self will give some clue for the toxicity still not to take risk is the rule, hope this information helps.
